BP cage 3 Nov 05

Great looking cage so far brother, might sugest using some of the verticle space with some really thick beafy climbing vines/sticks for her to get a lil bit of a work out on. What size is that by the way??

Thanks for the comment. The cage is a 55 gallon long. It's about 48" long by 11" deep by 16" high. I had assumed that a 14" long snake in a 16" high cage couldn't escape. I never left her completely uncovered for very long, but I didn't keep the lid clips on nearly as carefully as I do with my 38" long kingsnake. Today, I couldn't figure out where she was hiding, and finally found her clinging to the center support at the top of the cage. The lid was clipped in place, so she couldn't open the top, but my illusions about her not yet being able to escape were shattered.

My sister has some large pieces of sterile wood that she may give me soon. If so, I'll have them to make more climbing space. I'd also like to figure out a way to put another water dish in the cage but above the floor. I don't think that I can have too many water dishes. If none of these ideas comes to fruition, I'll get some of the climbing vines that they sell at the local pet store.
