Cobalt showing STRANGE coloration

Cobalt, my Male Ambanja/Nosy be cross usually shows an all sapphire and sky blue coloration when fired up. I just got him fired up today (which I havent done in 3 months) and His blues changed to reds and yellows. Any specific reason??

Dont they start to change colorations as they age?
Also, he's a cutie, where'd you get him from?

Well, He's about 15 months old now, and it looked like his coloration development had TOTALLY stopped...but when he fired up today he turned totally unexpected colors! Also, thanks for the compliment, I purchased him from the kammers (Kamerflage Creations)
