They are hard to keep arent they? I have never seen one in a store only on animal shows.
Imagine very hot temps with UV lighting? do you see much of him ,do they bask ?

They aren't hard to keep: they need only high temperatures... But I'm lucky: mine are captive born! ;-)
They are animals very shy!!!... They live above all under the sand: I see them rarely!!!
They need a temperature of 45°- 48°degrees (under the hot spot) and they eat especially "slow" insects!
I don't use UV lighting because they don't bask: as I've said, they spent a lot of their time under the hot sand!
