Well, nice sunken head, and dangerous none the less due to the snake can still deliver a fairly bad bacteria and 2 puncture wounds.

It is sad to do such a thing to such a beautiful animal, if you want a snake with no venom then get a python, truly sad what you did to that poor snake.

if you want a snake with no venom, get a garter snake, leave the venomous to the experienced.

Pitbull why don't you try getting laid instead of sitting there trying to be little someone "Get a garter snake". The snake looks pretty happy to me.

I got a great gal, and i get laid every night, but how the hell do you know it is happy, venomoid surgery is cruel. And if you own that snake, like i siad before, just don't own venomous snakes, leave them to the experienced keepers.

I don't think its a venomoid. Asian arboreal vipers don't tend to respond well to the surgery I've heard and almost always die or stop eating afterward. Could just be that its not particularly threatened by people. I saw a guy handle a healthy Popes Pit Viper before, I thought it was stupid, but I've seen it done.
This guy is a dumbass regardless, but its not necessarily a venomoid.

i dont really see why it matters, the snakes perfectly healthy and im sure the surgery was done humanely. no one has the right to criticize anyone or what they do when they dont know the truth.

i know 2 surgens who do venomoid surgery and that is definantly a venomoid... i have had many venomoids in the past none with that big of indents in ist head though.. before you people say anything i have had way more hots than venomoids my venonoids were for educationas purposes and for example cobras my kaouthia hot and not (venomoid) ate the same my 3 footers would eat 3 jumbo mice a week and they would [bleep] the same NO problem with digestion at all with the venomoid cobras and thea goes the same for the venomoid and hot vipers(true and pit vipers) thhat i have had and ive had ALOT.. as for the surgery being cruel the people i know use all the proper tools of the trade. its no diferent than getting your dog fixed, your cat declawed people have a long history of altering animals to fit there needs...
thats enough on this , anyways that snake is 100% a venomoid and that is fine

also if the surgery is done right asian vipers will do just fine ive seen alot more of "touchy" come through with no problems
the only prob with arborial vipers and venomoid surgery is that alot of them are to small th safley preform the surgery
once again food digestion is not a problem i say this because i and many of my friends have tested it with countless snakes vipers and elapids HOT and VENOMOID
thanks
af anybody wants to know more you can email me at vmelinus@yahoo.com save your hate mail (i wont buy a hot snake and send it out to get fixed but i will buy a venomoid, if i buy a hot it stays hot)

It's not a venomoid. It's fully fanged and it's as tame as a little garter snake. Thanks!

Hey pitbull, alot of things are cruel, deal with it, you eat steak and chicken right? im sure you do, you think choppin a chickens head of isnt cruel? or putting a shot gun up to a cows head and blowing it away isnt cruel? hell even taken a mouse or rat and feeding it to your snake isnt cruel? cmon now guy, taking the venom glands outa the snake honestly isnt that cruel at all compared to what we do to other animals, ITS SAFE. point proven

I agree with Pitbull. Removing snakes venom glands is not the right thing to do...
If you want a cool looking snake, you should either get a python or be prepared to get bitten by a "hot" snake.
Not to mention having a snake because its "cool" is a totally wrong reason for keeping a snake.
