sorry for the terrible quality, but the lighting wasn't the greatest. this is junior's current setup -- the plastic sandbox is easy to move or carry and super easy to clean. the shelter at the end and the rack for his light were made out of wood by my dad and are fitted to the "lip" of the sandbox so they won't slip off. the hanging lamp is a reptisun 5.0 24" bulb (shown is his smaller bulb from his last enclosure that i was using while i was waiting for the 24" one to come in the mail), and attached to the roof of the shelter is a zoo-med ceramic heat emitter size large (i chose this brand because it is the only ceramic heat emitter that is u.l. certified). substrate is bed-a-beast (i tried cypress mulch but he tried to eat it too often for me to feel safe using it). overall this was much cheaper and more suitable than a similarly sized aquarium would be, by far!
