Pink-tongued Skink

Pink-tongued Skink (Hemisphaeriodon gerrardii) found on the East coast of Australia. This species is born with a blue tongue but it turns pink after a year or so. The tail is long and pehensile. Total body length may be up to 18". Live young, usually about 30, are born in Summer.
