Well, after several failed prototypes, I give you this! Using the wire mesh and concrete method, a lil concrete goes a long way. The entire project material list cost 20 bucks for the two twenty lbs bucket of quick setting cement, 6 bucks for the mesh, and around 20 bucks for the pump, I can give yah the specs on the pump if need be, WHat yah guys think?

total time invested, umm, 2 hours of frame work for both the upper and lower pieces, then about a hour or two the concrete work, maybe only a total of three hours invested total. Not done yet, need to seal it and paint/decorate it.

it looks nice, what kind of animal are you using it for? but for 46$ couldn't you just buy one and avoid the hassle?

Well, there are narrow selection of pre fab'd plastic looking waterfalls that hold at most, a quart of water, mine is made to my spec's, that exact way I wanted it to look, hold twice as much water as mos of them that I looked at prior to making the choice of building my own, not big on making my enclosures look "corporate" Eventually I'll end up making his ( the ball python in my photo album ) hides using the same technique. And it's part of the hobby I think, making your animals feel more comfortable and showing off what you've got. Thanks for the post ...
