Beautiful birds. They look so big compared to you! How old are they both?

I am not sure of Baxter's age. I estimate 25 from the story of his owner when I got him and Cleo is 11 yrs. old now and she is a spoiled brat.

They don't, Kaine.
Very cool! I have been looking into blue and gold macaws. Thos cockatoos are gorgeous, too... Which do you think makes a better pet for a teenager, a blue and gold or a cockatoo?

"I thought all birds bite"
THATS A STERIOTYPE if I've ever seen one!
Being that this pic is very old, and I doubt snakebabe is still on the board I'll answer the question of the blue and gold, or cockatoo, for a teen.
Personally, I too would love both aswell! I am also a teen...
When taking care of birds, you have to take the time commitment into hand. And this doesn't only mean the cleaning, this means the years spent together.
Actually it would kinda be a good thing to get a macaw or cockatoo at teen age. As both can live over 60+++!
With these big birds you have to take in commitment MONEY, playtime, cages, etc!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
IF your well off with money, and feel your determined for the commitment, I'd go with a blue and gold.
As they can be without there owners throughout the day in a cage. ( AKA when your in college)
Meanwhie cockatoos like to stick like glue.......
This is just general,
Write now I'd stick with a smaller parrot (senegal, cockatiel, conure, etc)
