what's the temperment of a blood python usually like?

It can really vary - this male for example is normally pretty laid back and not one to bite, but occasionally he will strike and a blood python strike is very fast and powerful... a bite from a juvenile or an adult would probably be pretty painful - if you handle them all the time, chances are you could end up with a very nice snake but in the beginning it could be a little rough... bloods also get pretty large... around 5 -7 ft. depending on the different subspecies, but they have a very large girth and mass to them
