That looks like the woods not far from me lots logs,wood scattered about,etc. lots of garters among other small snakes found in areas like that.
Looks great . I also heat from above with incandescent in large enough tank gives great thermal areas.
Great set up . Is it hard to keep clean?

Not at all actualy. I have no garters in here at the moment I usualy catch a few during season and keep them for a few days and get my information. I grow plants in here and I keep a good number of earth worms in here. They are good for the plants they keep the cage clean and the garters usualy eat a few. I feed the worms bread but they do eat some of the poop I miss. I've had the tank for a year now and all plants and animals are doing great.

Oh if you live in NJ you could get Ringnecks-Dekays neat tiny snakes. I am in Long island .
I just saw some spotted salamanders during the warm spell last week in my yard . Lots neat herps ESP sallies my favorites in your state.
Jersey Pine Barrens are great but keep on eye out for bears lol.

Had acouple WC dekays last year recieved a ring neck snake from the neighbor who caught it hiking but I myself have never had the pleasure to catch a wild ringneck only photograph
