Is that a cross between a jungle and an irian jaya? I haven't seen an adult one of those before this, but it sure looks like it would be to me...

Nope pure jungle.

Are you aware that most of the jungles available are no where near "pure" jungles...? The brown sides in between the yellow bands don't look at all like a pure jungle should. It's not that it's a bad thing, I just doubt that it's pure jungle, and that shade and pattern of brown looks like a jungle/irian jaya cross

I was also wondering about your koi pond. I was looking through your gallery and saw your dwarf by the pond. That's really cool. I haven't talked to too many herpers that are also into koi. Do you have domestic koi or imports? How big is your pond and did you build it yourself?

Blake maybe the lights make her look brown? She was purchased from good stock either way. Check out "Pythons of the World, Volume 1, Australia
by David G. Barker and Tracy M. Barker" You will see the different patterns and colors of the jungles. The photo on the cover shows a jungle with "shading". The Koi pond is only about 275gal and I do have a few imports as well as domestics. perhaps I will take pics when the weather breaks.

please don't be offended, I'm sure this carpet came from very nice stock, it's beautiful. I was simply testing my thought that it could be a cross - I haven't seen too many so that would make even nicer. I would love to see your koi and pond though. I wish more people would get into them.
