My name is matt, i have had snakes since i was 8 years old and am 16 at the ccurrent time, so I am no newbie to the hobby.

I was thinking of using the same cage setup as you, upgrading to bigger and bigger rubbermaids until i need a pond, how does it work for you?Beautiful gator by the way.

it's been working out great. i, too, am working towards a setup built around one of those prefab plastic ponds that are cheap and easily available. the rubbermaid thing works good, and there are lots of different shapes and sizes available. one suggestion though: build your setup high enough off of the ground so you can use a hose to shyphon out the pond. mine is at ground level and that makes it a chore to empty it. other than that, works great. i included a filter and heater as well, that keeps the water clean longer. good luck...
