If you ever want to sale them let me know. Or else if you get hatchlings I would want some. I used to have a big one I found ine the wild in Texas. It was a greek for sure and not a Texas tortoise. I found it in Central Texas. I can kick myself for selling her years ago. Mine was more black and rounder looking. Eric

I doubt the one you found in Texas was a GREEK tortoise. The Greek tortoise is found in Southern Spain, Eastern Europe, N. Africa and Middle East. The one you probably found is a Texas Tortoise (Gopherus berlandieri). They have a darker shell then the greeks do. These are actually federally and state protected. They cannot be collected in the wild or sold unless captive born. If owned they have to be registered with the state and you would receive a tag that gets attached to the tortoise. Just a little FYI
