Thanks for the compliment, Mangel. Titan eats 2 very large rabbits once a month. And he doesn't have an enclosure, per se. He has a 11x13 room. We "snake-proofed" a room and set it up for him. He stays in there most the time, but I do like to let him roam the house at least 3 times a week.

i cant wait till mine gets that big...i have an 8ft burm..can u recommend a feeding sched for me?..coz i get different opinions when i ask people..how fast will he grow to the size of titan without power feeding? i feed him a jumbo rat a week?

First off, enjoy him while he's still 8 ft, because these snakes get huge and can be a bit to handle as far as a food bill is concerned. At eight foot, you should see if he would take two jumbo's every other week. I know that this is basically the same amount of food, but larger meals less often will allow him to grow faster without power feeding him. Also, considering that snakes are very prone to stress, this will lower that factor as feeding can be streeful for a snake. As for how long it will take to reach Titan's size, I don't really know, but this should help you figure that out: Titan is eight years old. So, figure out how old your burm is and go from there. Also, I would really like to see some pics of your snake(s), so feel free to post them and let me know or you are welcome to e-mail with any other things I might be able to help you with. Nice burm, I have 2, one is 10 foot and the other is 13. I am glad to read that it has it's own room, I thought that I was the only one who has done that. My burms share a divided room. I like the fact of large snakes having a room instead of a cage. I have put up a "peg board" on the divider wall so the can have something to sort of climb on and get some excersize. You are welcome to check out my posts, catwomen.

Cool. I also keep mine in their own 12'x14' bedroom complete with a heated kingsize waterbed. Of course they are allowed to roam the house. Afterall mine are "Guardsnakes". The biggest is Weiser, she's 24'+, B.B. he's 20'. Angel is 16', Christa {Albino} is 12' & 4 babies {from Weiser & BB} about 6' each.
