I tried to breed this snake pictured to my smaller male to see if it was in fact a girl or boy and saw some odd behavior, “Tail wagging” from both, opening of the vent, musking and on the snake pictured, a very small button like protrusion coming out from the vent, much smaller than my male who has 2.(his hemi penis) With out a reptile vet any where near me I can’ find out if it is male or female.
What is the breeding behavior of both sexes?
Just some more info…
I got another Ball python (I was told was a female) I tried to breed her to the same small male and the same thing happened with both, the tail wagging and opening of the vent but this time with the “female” no Musk and no hemi penis coming out. It’s tail is long and thin but unlike the others it has a very sharp tip to it, if you need photos of “her” please ask.
Do I have all males or a very confused snake?
With both snakes (the “female” and the snake pictured) no breeding took place or any attempt or interest shown, besides the stuff listed above.
Thanks

Have you tried probing them, know how to prob? There is a realy good book out their, it is called "The Reproductive Husbandry of Pythons & Boas" you might think about purchasing it if you have not already done so. I know it's not much, but I hope that helps you out.
