Keywords: Noodle Sleeping

Noodle, my buddy of 18 years died peacefully in his sleep on March 13, 2006. He was suffering from CRF (kidney failure). I stayed up most of that night looking after him, fell asleep next to him around 6am. He was gone when I awaken an hour later. I didn’t even have a chance to say goodbye or took him to see the ocean. Noodle was diagnosed with kidney disease on January 2005, days after our other cat Truffle lost her battle with the same illness. No doubt force-feeding Noodle had prolonged his life by at least 9 months. Wish I had done that with Truffle last year. The Cat Hospital was kind enough to kept Noodle's remain until my mom's return a month later. On Sunday morning April 9 Noodle was taken to the beautiful Santa Cruz Mountain for a private cremation. As with our cat Truffle last year, the service was performed with the help of Trent Thompson of Caring Pet Service. Fitting too that on our way to the cremation place, the sun broke out from the rain cloud with an incredible rainbow over the Santa Cruz Mountain. Truffle must have been waiting for Noodle at the other ends of it. I miss them both so much.

I am so sorry about Noodle. I have also lost kitties to CRF and it's a tough disease to deal with.
You know, I believe that Noodle knew that you were beside him when he passed and sensed your love for him. Possibly that is why he slipped away so peacefully and quietly.
Sending Glow to you on the loss of both of your precious babies.........
