Do you hide your face in mask for all pet forums? is that a rule?

no I don't hide my face for all pet forums, but why would I post just a picture of me without a pet....hmmmmm? LOL Oh, and it's not cake on my face, it's a melting facial mask that my roommate forced me to try. I just think it's funny. I'm not trying to look nice. I'll post a non pet/non mask picture of myself if it's really annoying everyone. :)

small cavies??? My anacondas would beg to differ about gut impactation. If it can break down in the gut it won't impact.. Corn cob bedding doesn't break down, too much cellulious. Hair, or layered keratin and calcium is nothing but good for ya...If it caused gut impactation, mom probably would'nt have given you jello as a kid ( pure keratin/ ground hoves) Rock on, Blue

Jello's gross. I think it's the texture that I hate. I've never liked it, but my cavy isn't food for anyone. Did you know that they eat cavies in South America?

Oh yea, they eat EVERYTHING down there.. It's not bad, taste like raccoon, only with a stronger game taste. I don't think they eat the smaller ones like your little darling, they are 100% faster in the wild than in captivity, and very rarely do they wear hair clips, being primitive and all. You look like Molly Ringwald with that mask on, did it ever melt off? Did your skin glow? Do you show your pig? There are club for those little critters.. Rock on, Blue p.s. jello is better for your complection, hair and nails, than that mask and junk girls put themselves through, you just have to be able to eat it....

Just caught your post Blue. While your anaconda may have a palate for cavies, it is not the food item of choice for a captive specimen. Keratins form a group of fibrous protein molecules, and not all are the same.
Helical keratine molecules, found in cavie hair, especially the long-haired variety, create the formation of a covalent (chemical bond) called a disulfide bridge bridge between the sulfer atoms and two cysteins on seperate polypeptide chains.
It's this double chain, found in a few rodent species, which results in a fairly rigid aggregate, and therefore more difficult to breakdown then other forms of keratin.
As I am certain you are aware, jell-o is highly modified on a molecular level. I doubt many folks out there would be willing to sample it in the naturals state, as is the case with most highly processed foods.
Also, your Elaphe is no longer classified as such. It is now referred to as Pantherophis. Also, when was the last time you fed one of your anacondas a caiman? Many of the items consummed by this species in the wild, also aids in their digestion.
Sorry folks, didn't intend to make this a science lesson.
Blue, if you'd like to discuss this in greater depth, feel free to email me here at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences at: jssnodgres@uams.edu
Take care of that cavie, the ribbon is an especially cute touch..

Personally for the title of the photo the "cake face" and the ribbon on the super cute pig are very appropiate, also it might be good to mention that anacondas eat a lot of capybara in the wild (or so it's my understanding), which is like a 70? pound guinea pig with long legs which might be the reason the anaconda can handle it seemingly without problem, not that I'm informed on this topic, just thought it was worth a mention.

personally, no offense to the first poster, but anyone who asks that kind of question might just be a little weird in a bad way.
