Aren't those protected, as most populations occur within Great Smoky Mountains Nat'l Park?....

Not that I'm aware of and I am not 100% sure these were caught in GSMNP or not. I have asked the seller I got these from their locale but he's never responded. They are also found here in the upstate of SC(about an hour or so north of me). I can say those that do habitate within a national and state parks are offlimits, but as far as the species as whole I'm not sure. I have yet to find any info on if these are protected overall.
