This is Preacher, who died in my arms, looking up at my face as i told him it was OK to go on May 15th, he was almost 13. I knew he was sick when he didnt come to the door when i came home, like he did every day for 12 years. I miss him very much but was so glad i could be there when he took his last breath from cancer. I love you, dearest friend.

I am so sorry for your loss. There is nothing more difficult but you are right about being with him at the end. He knew you were there and felt your love for him.

Preacher was such a beautiful cat. I know how you feel and to be with Preacher at the end seems they know how loved they are ! I just love the chat room it helps me so much.
