That cage came out very nice how is it heated ?
Or your room is heated enough.

That's awesome....but what are you housing in there? Does he/she need substance? and how do you clean the wood?

I dont think the animal is in there yet think thats why no substrate yet. Its nice cage.

Yep there was no animal in there at the time of the picture. There is now though, an Everglades Rat Snake. I will be making two more cages like this for my Borneo Short-tailed Pythons. I am also building 3x2 cages for my Ball Pythons that will look the same. I use newspaper for my snakes now because the Aspen was a pain and messy and the Cypress was too buggy for me. I'll be switching to kraftpaper when it is delivered just to keep the newspaper ink off the snakes. I don't like how the ink rubs off on them. Paper is so much easier and cleaner to me after having gone the other routes. I do use humid hides to be sure they get it at will.

The wood is coated with sevreal coats of water based polycrylic and the bottom is covered with plastic sheeting so it's all good :)
