yes they are all live plants, i do all of my tanks with live plants, even though from time to time the pacman will destroy smaller less sturdy plants like the fern while chasing after some crickets.

What plants are those? Did you plant them Directly into the coco fiber? Also, how do you fertilize them?

from left to right, the first plant is commonly referred to as a peace lilly, it is used often in beta fish tanks. the middle plant is a common species of fern and the large plant on the right is a spyder plant. as for the bedding i have 2" of lava rock covered by landscaping fabric for drainage, followed by 1" of ESU reptlie's jungle mix and 3" of T-Rex's forest bed. i don't add any fertlizers to the soil because the garden center i buy from uses "animal friendly" fertlizer and sand instead of styrofoam for aeration, so there are no dangerous components in the soil they are planted in. so i plant the plants in the soil they come in. for those who are not lucky enough to have a garden center such as stated above, dyno-gro fertlizer is usually a good choice for feeding plants.
