In memory of my Sunshine Boy, Irie

This is Irie having one of his better days. Yesterday I had to make the horrible decision to put my sweet boy down. I never realized what an empty space there would be now that he is gone. I didn't want him to suffer anymore though and so it was time. He was one of my best friends - my other Chablis is 13. Irie would have been 15 in December. Oh how I miss him so. His sweet and gentle manner, the way he slept at my feet at night and as he got older, the care that I needed to give him became such a part of my life, now he is gone - I have a huge hole in my heart for him and I look forward to being with him and Chablis when it is her time, so we can share our special moments again. I will miss you Sunshine boy. I gave him this name one day when the sun was shining brightly on his head and the beautiful brown highlights show thru the black fur he had. I love you sweet boy and will for the rest of my life.
