I bought this as a leopard gecko but I know it isn't a gecko so WHAT IS IT?

either a sand fish or a leopard lizard...but definatly not a leopard gecko...

Dude, dont EVER buy something you cant identify. It is not a sandfish, leopard lizard, or leopard gecko. Sandfish are skinks, and therefore would have plated scales. They are yellow with black stripes anyway. Leopard lizards are big and mean with a different head structure. Theyre hard to come by anyway. What you have there is either a night lizard or whiptail. Most likely whiptail in my opinion because of head shape. You should look both up. Heed my warning, DONT BUY ANIMALS YOU CANT IDENTIFY! Imagine buying a water monitor thinking its a beardie. :p Hope the little guy turns out ok!
