I'd say that's a Baja Rat snake, but I can't see it very well, if you have a better pic, reply with a link.

two options (maybe)...snake_gal may be right. a baja rat snake or, as im saying, maybe a coachwhip? not so sure if they live there though. it has a long slender tail like one and the colouration of a coachwhip---look up coachwhips and compare size and look. coachwhips are slander and hav a long tail; baja rat snakes are slender but dont hav such a long tail. look both up, but im saying a it's a coachwhip IF they live there. good luck findin that snake.

While I don't think the subspecies will be the same as any of the whipsnakes in the US, It is very likely that same genus (Masticophis). I am fairly certain its not a rat snake though.
