I wish I could get a picture of his enclosure. Its hard because I have a small basement and his enclosure covers most of the room. I have a walk way of about 4ft half way around the enclosure.
The whole think was made from scratch. Its made out of plastic wood and a rubber pond liner. I bought everything at whole sale right from the factory, the whole project cost $1300 and two full days of work.
Its built like a stick house, first we built the frame which was made by 2x2s there about 5" apart. Then we screwed on the sheets to the 2x2s. At this time it looked like a big white box with no lid. Then we placed the pond liner in and then a blue swimming pool liner in, these liners were then screwed to the tops of the walls, then we placed the sheets of plastic wood on top and screwed them to the wall, we add stainless steel beams to add support. Which you can see in the picture at the very top left.
In the picture you can see the plastic sheets againts the walls this is to stop him from biting dead on againts the liners there is also one for a land spote. The enclosure is 8ft by 7ft by 3ft. It hold around 140 gallons. The enclosure tuned two years old this month and as you can see the swimming pool liner is full of holes but the pond liner is still holding strong, which is black. Thanks
