This is a photo of our new baby gator Butaan...He or She has been feeding on Crickets and Goldfish...We been trying to find some Crawfish for him, but no one around here seems to have any...This is just a temp home for him, tell his new home gets here next week, a 200 gal. tank...Any tips on how to make this lil guys life better would be great...

unless you live in a tropical area with a large pond, I dont see how this aligator will be happy.

Check out the Reptiles magazine issue from 2 months ago. I believe it is the June issue with a python eating a rat on the cover. Anyway, they have a step by step tutorial on how to build an indoor caiman enclosure. It is pretty killer and resembles a zoo enclosure. I would think your alligator would have to live in a pond outside, but this enclosure might work for you. I don't own any crocodilians so I am not sure. I hope you know what you're getting yourself into when he is 8-10 feet long.
