Whiskey was my first pet. He died today unexpectedly from saddle thrombus. I already miss him so terribly much. I'm trying to focus on all the fun we had for the 5 years he lived with me. He was a cat that DEMANDED attention, was always trying to sit on me and bringing his toys up to my bedroom to play.
I am so sorry for your loss. Whiskey was such a handsome boy and special, too. He left you way too young. It's extra hard to deal with a loss when it is sudden. If you are interested, we have Pet Loss chats every night and you are welcome to attend.
