... or is it sibbling rivalry? I happened to catch the 3 females as shown. Lots of digging, the poor patternless was almost buried :)

Funny pic. Maybe they were trying to bury her, you know how some people go to the beach and get buried by their kids...hahaha...kidding. What is the substrate you use in their nest box?? Looks like soil?? Is that what it is...does this work well for you? Once you find eggs what do you put them in to incubate?

It reminded me of that beach scene too. As it turns out, Sarah (front albino) and Abigail both laid eggs about the same time, Sarah must have covered Abi while covering her own eggs. Cleo is just a plain nosey leo, she's there to see what she can stir up. The substrate is moist peat moss, works great, incubation is ceramic soil, see pic 'Ceramic Soil Used for Incubation'
