Greenbottle Blue Sling "Speedy"

Hi ppl,
although I am using a sponge in this picture, it is highly recommended not to use a sponge as they can breed bacteria and other nasties.
I lost two of these fellows due to too high humidity. Never thought a high humidity could actually kill low himidity loving T's but it can and it happens very fast.
These guys are considered to be easy tarantulas as they require low humidity and low temps. However high humidity and high temps that would be fine for another species will kill this one so not any easier if you ask me. Like any T, you just need to find the right level. 21-24 deg. C and 50-60% hum. 75% humidity is risking killing them...
