This specimen came from the island of Luzon. These types are quite uncommon here and sometimes they've got white heads like the nuchalis.

They will grow to about 4-6ft,much like a common water monitor.

I've been trying to ID my water monitor and of every photo I've seen in the last year this is the closest thing to what I have that I have seen. Is the tip of your marmoratus' tail patternless and dark? The next closest to my girl is the patternless you have, though mine has the slight ocellation of your speckeld. Do you have any full photos of this animal?
