i just started keeping mangroves. and i was curious if they calmed down more with age or more with handling. because my older one is much more outgoing then the smaller guy but im thinking that could be personality also.

Twilight does seem to be calmer now.His cage is in the living room so he sees people( and TV) a lot.I started letting him roam when he was about 2 feet long and 1 year old.He's 2 now and close to 4 feet.He moves slow and is VERY curious.I started giving him liberty in closed rooms so I could better MONITOR him (lol).I can follow him all around the house now.They're spazzy when young but I think familiarity with surroundings helps to calm them.GOD BLESS...

ive got three right now the smallest is 6 inches the second is 11 and the third is 18 and they all interact pretty well. the two bigger ones are very curious and will climb up my arm but the slightest movement they get a little flighty and the littlest one is a little bit slower and i have to pick him up for interaction but when he gets up in my hands he seems to be a little bit more tolerable of me but also can be a little flighty when scared. they are all eating crickets 6 days a week and eggs on the 7th, have only offered pinky mice so far which only the 11 inch one will give any attention too. and i go through about 5 dozen on day that they dont eat much.
