No, I used JBL repti-clean for tortoise. Vaseline i'm not sure about the side effect. I see some tortoise hobbiest used that

That's safety. I ever used vaseline before with some baby indian-star. They were contiguous soft-shell symptom, runny nose and have been died afterthat. if you want to share experience please contact me z_singharachdecha@hotmail.com very glad to join you
