Savannah Monitor

This is a Savannah Monitor that I purchased from a very reputable retailer. Despite my better judgment I purchased this Savannah Monitor because I felt bad for it as it was obviously neglected. I pulled off two ticks, have both tail bones clearly visible (extremely under weight) and had a slight burn/injured scales on her side. He/she was still active and alert and feeding when I purchased him/her. Long/short...doubled it's weight, has shed have of the body and the new scales are so beautiful, does not even look like the same lizard. I have had him/her for 6 months now and I am so happy that I am the owner. Amazingly tame and loves to be out of the cage hanging with me.
