Striped/Abberrant Ruthven's King. I produced this snake in 2006 from a wild caught male that was originally owned by Lloyd Lemke. I am not sure if Lloyd caught and/or imported the snake himself or if he obtained it from someone else. The mother of this snake was a normal Ruthven's that was captive produced by Ric Blair. Her ancestry pre-dates that of the albinos so I am reasonably sure there is no hybrid blood since both of the adult parents looked pure and Ruthven's hybrids were not really all that common until the albino Ruthven's was discovered and bred into numerous other species. Some of Lloyd's Ruthven's are known to have come from Amealco but I actually spoke with Lloyd when he was living and he never claimed that ALL of his stock came from Amealco. It would be nice to claim that the striped/abberrant Ruthveni are locality but it simply is not known for sure.
