Keywords: unknown desert gecko
Found this little gal crawling across the exterior wall of my house. I live in the Mojave Desert of So Cal and its definately not a banded gecko. It doesnt have eyelids and has finger pads. Unfortuately it dropped its tail when I picked it up. It appears to be a female. Any help with identification would be much appreciated.
that appears to be a mediteranian house gecko. They were first introduced to Florida and Texas, but apparently they're all over the u.s. now. And they are quite conspicuous. They are pretty common all around my house to.

you should know that they are also asexual and given the right husbandry will produce young year round all on their own. About two eggs every 3-4 weeks
