Maury - 38" Sanderson Gray Banded male. Feeds on live medium size mice (will not eat pre-killed or frozen). He will also refuse city tap water, likes filtered (pur water pitcher).

Very friendly, received for free from previous owner (every thing included). This is my first snake. He will soon be a class pet in an elementary classroom. I'm sure my students will like him.

This is the first time i have ever heard of a snake refusing tap water and i have hundreds of them? Also, Remove that corn cob bedding and throw it away along with any extra you may have.. It is NOT safe for use with any reptile..

I switched out the bedding to zoo med's aspen snake bedding shortly after I got him.

As for him not drinking the tap water that because my city water has high levels or chlorine in it. I won't even drink it from the tap (hence using a water filter)
