The Mangrove species is said to be in serious need of overhauling...I agree.With all the logging going on in the Indonesian areas, many new varieties are being found.Twilight has aqua green spots as opposed to the more commonly available yellow variety...this may account for his large size.After a couple of years searching,we finally found a similar female, although she is only around 39 inches...roughly the same age. Twilight's large enclosure and regular sessions of free roaming may have helped his growth. I never expected him to break 40 inches.They've recently attempted to mate and I have my fingers crossed. GOD BLESS...
