Here the female is on the left and the male on the right. The female tail tapers more sharply from the vent, the male stays a little wider until farther down, and is somewhat longer. Note the visible spurs on the male. Females may have spurs, but they are generally smaller than on a male, even as babies. These are littermates, 3 months old.
