My animals have gone down to 35 degrees when I used to allow them to dig burrows. There burrows would be close to 30 inches in lenght and down to 12 to 15 inches deep. They made it fine through this weather. About ten years ago I decided to use Kane heat pads inside hide boxes. They turn on when it drops below 50 degrees and turns off above. This has been working well for me.

Interesting I did not think the types of lizards you have pictured could live in such cold granted its warmer in borrows.

The freak cold spell we had last winter with 2 weeks of night temps in 40s and days only hitting 60 wiped out close to every iguana here in Miami which is why did not think to many types of lizards could be housed outdoors granted the spiney iguana which lives in borrows was not affected.
