How long have you had him/she? I have always wanted one! In hawaii they run wild, but I was always scared if I caught one and kept it it would die :(
But they are SO cool, I used to hold them up the window and let them catch flies :))

It's a veild and as for keeping one if you kept a veild in your home state you better be ready to pay a fine $200,000 for like 6 years in jail or both, You can keep a jackson and they are more common were you live, I think (depends on island) go to www.adcham.com for info on them.
