2011 Project Suboc Update

Here is a pic of my Project Suboc female and her six egg clutch. She is 23 months old. As I predicted, this female (wich I hatched and selected at random for this project) fed well, grew rapidly, and successfully bred and laid a seemingly fertile clutch of six eggs. She is not exceptionally large for two year old. The combined weight of the snake and her eggs is 349 grams. Once again I hope this helps dispel the myths that subocs are shy feeders with delicate digestive systems prone to regurgitate, and that they shouldn't be bred at a small size or a very young age. As I've said before, if cared for properly subocs are hardy feeders, grow rapidly and are able to reproduce at a young age without complication. I feel the results of this 23 month endeavor support my claims. Regards, Kevin Muchnick
