This is an example of a wood-framed pond. The base is plywood. The sides are 'squares' of 2X8's screwed together. A liner is then dropped in and trim pices added to secure the top of the liner. This enclosure is 12X6 feet by 16+ inches deep. It was used to house slider, cooters, red bellies and chicken turtles.
