if your going for a decoritive cage then i wouldn't say that is where it spend the rest of his life...unless it doesn't reach adult age. :)

do you say that because you think it is too small? It measures L 36"x W 12.5"x H 16.5", which I would think (also according to experts)is more than enough.

it's a nice looking cage, but it seems that it may be too small to me from the demensions you posted. its really your call, but i would say to go a bit bigger (bigger is better!). i have a female cali king that i keep in a 30" L x 28" W x 22" H cage, and she loves it. the experts all say that a fully grown cali king will do well in a 20 gal long cage, but as is the case w/you, it just doesnt seem big enough. you wouldnt want to live in a standard walk in closet if you could have a master suite, right? same concept.
