Yep!! My yellowhead got mauled just like this from our dwarf Retic. It looked almost just as bad. I thought I'd lose Booger. Booger is doing fine now but of course it healed over and a bit of a scar. I'm just happy he's alive and ok :) Don't let him near any water except a small bowl to drink from. Bacteria will grow on that wound really quick!!!!!!!!!! Only apply antibacterial ointment or DEF..TAKE HIM TO VET! I'm sure he'll be ok. kathy P

Benny K. recently cleared this up for me. They said that the guy is going to stitch the snake up...that he knows what he's doing so just in case someone is condemmed for assuming wrong...I thought I'd let ya know. I mean, it's not clearly stated that the guy is repairing the snake and not everyone has read the profile or even knows the owner. It's good to know, however, that the owner DOES know the skilled technique of minor surgery. For the snake's sake. kat P
