New Chameleon Set Up...I built it myself...any commets or helpful hits ???

I would mount the strip light vertically inside the enclosure, and add nore plants at the bottom. I would also add a drip system. I like the cage and used some of its design aspects to build my cage.

Thanks for your input....I am thinking about getting a second strip light, as you suggested, and putting it on the side of the enclosure...I also have added a drip system now with a bit rubbermaid pan at the bottom of the enclosure to catch the water, and also I run a cool mist ultrasonic humidifier several times during the day that I have set up right next to the enclosure...I have it on a timer....Gary

Looks good, but if it is for veiled you cannot use fake plants, veilds are the only truly omnivorous species of chameleons, unlike other lizards they do not lick the plant first to see if it's real, they just take a bite. It has been reported that some veilds have suffocated and poisoned by eating fake plants
