Unsexable ball python

i would say a female.

I would disagree. The length of the spurs and what appears to be a distinct hemipenal bulge sure makes it look like a male to me.

from what i can see from the pic i would say male but what you should really do is show a larger pic of the tail , but wit hsomething for size comparison like a quarter,put a quarter next to the tail and also tell us how old this animal is ,and his weight etc..

I've got more pictures of "her" that I'll post in a bit.... It is over 4 years old, about 1100 grams, was an adoption with my other two ball pythons. I'm not good as distinguishing my ball python's butts, and I forgot who I actually photographed, but -- this may be Ebony, the one who looks more male. Again, I'll post better pictures later. Thank you for all the input.

You can sometimes tell by the head. A males head as very defined sides, where a female has a very sleek head. If you post a pic of the head it may be easier for me to tell the sex.

Well defined like big cheeks or something? If we go by that method, my "gravid" female is a male, and the male is female. :/

That is just what I have heard. I do not know if it is true. I have all my snakes probed, which is the best way to find out if you really want to know.

Yeah. =) I need to learn how to probe!
