Keywords: spotted children's Antaresia maculosa childreni

Here is a picture of a pair of what were supposed to be spotted pythons. I purchased these snakes at the Orlando NRBE in 1999 as hatchlings, right out of the egg. The male is definitely a spotted python (Antaresia maculosa), but the female appears to be a children's python (Antaresia childreni). Opinions?

Note: These snakes were placed together for the photo. Never feed snakes in the same cage!
