Keywords: mantid what kind species mantis
I bought her a few months ago at a herp show and know body could identify her?
They said she is from asia.
she is quite big around 4 inches

possibly Stagmomantis californica (not that
I have anything against them, I love ‘em).

Actually, this is an adult female Bud-Wing Mantis, Parasphendale Agrionina or Affinis. I have an adult P. Agrionina that looks just like this one. She's roughly 2 3/4ths inches long, and colored just like this one.

I forgot to add, this species is actually from the Savanas of Africa, not from Asia.
