This is Mac, and adult male 'Wild Type' male... this is what a leo straight out of the wild would look like, in contrast to the average normal you might find on the dealers table.

Mac is captive bred, none of my geckos are WC. I was stating that this was the wild coloration. I believe his parents or grandparents were WCs... this guy is well over 10 years old so its very possible (he was a rescue). I was trying to show that many 'normals' today do not look like the original coloration/patterning of the animals as you would find in the wild, or CB young from non-selectively bred bloodlines, and posted his pic in relation to a topic on leopard gecko habitats in the leo gecko forums. Wild TYPE doesn't always me wild CAUGHT. Its a scientific term for the wild phenotype.

ok, that's good. However, I notice no drastic difference between this "wild type" and the many normals in my care. The only distinction I notice is he seems to be a bit skinny and his legs somewhat longer. He is cute nontheless, quite a nice gecko. :)
