I keep finding these in my poolskimmer in southern coastal Georgia. I think they are the same. Most are dead, but some I find alive. I posted a photo of latest in this gallery. Is it the same? I have small grandchildren, so I need to know. Thanks

I kept a few of these as a kid. They would only eat skinks, or prey scented with skinks, eg anoles.

(kingsnake_71185) try scenting the pinkies; if that doesn't work, try braining them(cut the pinkies head open and spread the fluids around the pinkie)

Jake...I had problems getting my scarlet to eat a pinkie also. So, I put the pinkie in a small paper bag with the snake...it only took about 3 minutes and the pinkie was gone. Ever since then...I've had no problems at all.
